2023 Subaru Crosstrek is here, goodbye XV

Subaru has officially confirmed pricing and specifications for the all-new 2023 Crosstrek, the replacement to its popular XV SUV. With pre-orders now open, the five-model line-up will be available in showrooms from April this year at prices ranging from $34,990 to $45,090 plus on-road costs. Let’s take a look at what the new Crosstrek has to offer.

Powertrain Options

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek range includes three petrol models (2.0L, 2.0R and 2.0S) and two hybrids (Hybrid L and Hybrid S). It offers an impressive 220mm of ground clearance and is based on Subaru’s latest Global Platform which provides 10% more stiffness than previous models.

It is also almost identical dimensionally to its predecessor at 4495mm long, 1800mm wide, 1600mm tall.

The two Boxer flat-four engines deliver reliable performance with symmetrical all-wheel drive and an efficient CVT transmission.

The 2.0 L petrol engine provides 115kW of power, 196Nm of torque, and a fuel consumption rate of 7.2L/100km; whereas the innovative e-Boxer Hybrid combines combustion technology with electric assistance for 110 kW and 196 Nm plus improved efficiency that reduces 6.5L/100 km fuel use – creating a smooth driving experience every time you get behind the wheel!

Interior Design & Technology

Inside the cabin of the new Crosstrek you’ll find plenty of creature comforts such as heated front seats with lumbar support (on higher trims), leather upholstery or cloth seat surfaces depending on trim level selected as well as an 11.6″ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto compatibility across all models.

There’s also an array of driver assistance systems including adaptive cruise control with lane centring assist which makes long trips much easier by keeping your car within its own lane automatically!
